The works involved the fit out of a newly constructed building for the Birmingham City University (BCU). The BCU intended on taking occupation and relocating some of its key departments; Estates Management, HR, IT and Finance. As such the fit out was to a very high specification.

The works were carried out over 5 floors and included the construction of meeting rooms, server rooms, “huddle” spaces, feature rafts, kitchens and coffee pods. New flooring and decorations were carried out throughout. The contract also included for an extensive package of FF&E to be procured and installed.

M&E works included the installation of a new Cat 6 data network, installation of a controlled access system including CCTV monitoring, adaption and enhancement of the base build fire alarm and alterations and adaptations to the small power and lighting installations.
