A general refurbishment of an Engineering teaching area with logistical difficulties. Valuable heavy equipment that carries out repetitive testing to destruction of joint replacement components needed to be moved from a basement room to the first floor of, one of the oldest buildings at the University.
The room needed to be fitted out with upgraded electrics, data and fire detection systems. A new steel platform to take the weight was introduced and new floor coverings and decoration were carried out prior to the roof being removed and the equipment craned in through the opening.
The equipment was put in position and the roof was closed and decorated.
