Mental Health Awareness Week, May 2023

At GTH construction we are championing Mental Health Awareness week in Mid May 2023. In order to raise awareness and contribute towards this vitally important subject, a few of our team are taking part in an organised run on Sunday 21st May 2023. The run location is in Sutton Park, Birmingham and there is a 10K and half-marathon taking place of which we are participating in both. This run is on the last day of Mental Health Awareness week and we would be trying to; A) raise awareness of Mental Health and B) gain sponsorship which will be given to a mental health charity. The running team taking part are already in training which is great for having to stick to those usual New Year’s resolutions to get fit and healthy. As you can appreciate, for most, entering a run where stamina and fitness are key, is a challenge and the motivation of doing so for such a fantastic cause is spurring them on! There will be regular updates on training available on the website, so please take the time to have a look and you never know, it may even motivate you to have a go if you’re not already involved! Just...
